Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 5, 2026 Last updated: October 5, 2026

CAREERGUIDE GROUP USA LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Mritechjobs.com and netjobs.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit these websites, apply for jobs through our forms, create an account, sign up for job alerts (Matchmail), subscribe to newsletters, or contact us (together, the "Services").

This policy covers our handling of your information. Employers, recruiters, and external application platforms handle information under their own privacy policies. You do not need to create an account to apply through our application forms.

1 Information we collect

Job applications: Your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, résumé or CV, cover letter, education and work history, certificates, references, answers to screening questions, and other information you choose to include.

Accounts and job alerts: Your email address, username, password authentication information, job search criteria such as role and location, and preferences for changing, pausing, or ending alerts.

Newsletters and communications: Your email address and information you provide when contacting support or submitting a privacy request.

Website use: Your IP address, browser and device details, operating system, language settings, screen resolution, pages viewed, navigation activity, and cookie or similar identifiers. An IP address may indicate an approximate location.

Applications may contain sensitive information you voluntarily provide, such as health information or information revealing race or ethnicity. Please do not include Social Security numbers, government identification documents, financial account information, or other sensitive information unless specifically required through an appropriate application process. Information about another person, such as a reference, should be provided only when you have permission to share it.

2 How we collect information

We collect information directly from you through forms, account registration, alert and newsletter sign-ups, and communications. We also collect technical information automatically through server logs, cookies, and similar technologies. Certain technical information is needed to operate and secure the Services; optional tracking is subject to your cookie choices and applicable law.

3 How we use information

Applications: Receive your application, scan uploaded files for security threats, and send your application to the employer or recruiter responsible for the job you selected.

Job alerts and accounts: Send matching job listings, manage your search preferences, authenticate access, and administer your account.

Communications: Send newsletters you requested, respond to questions, and send necessary account or service messages.

Website operation: Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, analyze, and improve the Services, including testing different website designs or features.

Legal and administrative purposes: Comply with applicable law, prevent fraud and misuse, enforce our terms, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We may use aggregated or deidentified information for statistics and service improvement. Where applicable law requires information to remain deidentified, we maintain it in that form and do not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law. Analytics information linked to an IP address or cookie identifier is not necessarily anonymous.

4 How we disclose information

Employers and recruiters. When you apply for a job, we send your application and related information to the employer or recruiter responsible for that listing. They determine how to use it in their recruitment process. Contact them directly about their retention practices or requests concerning information they hold. We do not offer employers a searchable résumé database.

Service providers. We disclose information to providers supporting website hosting, data storage, email delivery, security scanning, analytics, website testing, and customer support. Providers processing information on our behalf are subject to contractual restrictions appropriate to their role and applicable law.

Legal disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or defend legal claims.

Business transactions. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.

At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or give appropriate consent.

We do not sell or rent personal information, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. Since the launch of our Services, we have not engaged in those practices. Sending an application to the employer you select is part of the service you request; it does not give other employers access to your résumé.

5 Cookies and online tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functions and, subject to your choices and applicable law, analytics and website testing. Cookie information can include online identifiers and activity data. We do not use advertising pixels or retargeting.

We use Usercentrics to manage cookie preferences. The consent panel lets you accept or reject optional cookies and review their providers, purposes, and durations. You can reopen the panel through the website’s cookie settings control and change or withdraw your consent. Essential cookies needed for the website to function remain active. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect website features.

Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use our websites, including pages visited, navigation, and device information. It uses cookies and similar technologies, subject to your choices in Usercentrics. Google receives information needed to provide the analytics service and may process it outside the United States. You can decline optional analytics cookies through Usercentrics. More information about Google’s handling of information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising personalization or retargeting.

Our optional cookie choices are managed through Usercentrics rather than a browser’s Do Not Track setting. A Do Not Track setting does not replace your selections in our consent panel. We do not enable third parties to track your activity across unrelated websites for targeted advertising. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for processing covered by those signals. A Global Privacy Control signal is different from a browser Do Not Track setting.

6 How long we retain information

Job applications: We retain our copy during the application process and for no more than six months after that process ends, then delete it. This does not determine how long the receiving employer keeps its copy.

Accounts and job alerts: We retain information while the account or alert service remains active. When you close an account or end an alert, we delete or deidentify associated information that is no longer needed, subject to the exceptions below.

Newsletters: We retain subscription information until you unsubscribe. We may retain a minimal suppression record to ensure that you do not receive further marketing emails.

Cookies and analytics: Cookie durations are stated in the cookie details. We retain related analytics and security records only as long as needed for their stated purposes, taking into account operational needs, risk, and legal obligations.

We may retain limited information longer where necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, or document requests and consent choices. Backup copies may remain until overwritten through the normal backup cycle and are not used for ordinary business purposes. Retention depends on the information’s purpose and sensitivity, legal requirements, and whether the purpose can be met using less information.

7 Your choices and privacy requests

You can update available account settings, change or cancel job alerts through the link in an alert email, and unsubscribe from newsletters through the unsubscribe link. You can also contact us using Section 11. We honor marketing email opt-out requests within 10 business days. Necessary account and service messages may continue while you use the relevant Services.

Depending on your state of residence, the law that applies to our business, and the context in which information is processed, you may have rights to access or obtain a portable copy of your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Some state laws exclude information processed in an employment or job application context.

Submit requests by email to customerservice@CareerguideGroup.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Identify the website involved and describe your request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority. We do not require identity verification for opt-out requests unless permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request where allowed, and we may need proof of authorization.

We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted denial or extension. Where you have a right to appeal a denial, reply to our decision or contact customerservice@CareerguideGroup.com with the subject "Privacy Request Appeal." We will explain the outcome and how to contact the relevant state authority if your appeal is denied. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. Deleting information needed for an account or alert may prevent us from continuing that service.

Additional information for California residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our business and your information, you may also request information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients of personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information. These rights are subject to legal exceptions.

In the preceding 12 months, or since launch if shorter, collected categories include identifiers; personal information described in California Civil Code Section 1798.80(e); internet activity; employment information; education information; and, where provided, protected classification characteristics and sensitive personal information. Sections 1–4 describe examples, sources, purposes, and recipients, and Section 6 describes retention. Application categories go to the employer you select. Service providers receive categories needed for their functions. Legal or business transaction disclosures may involve any category as necessary. No category is sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Sensitive information is handled to authenticate access, receive and forward applications, protect security, and meet legal obligations. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you or for advertising. Contact us using Section 11 to exercise applicable rights.

8 Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Keep your login credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

9 International processing and external websites

Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Laws in those countries may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use appropriate safeguards.

Job listings may link to an employer’s website or an external application platform. Information you submit directly to those sites is governed by their privacy policies. Please review them before submitting an application.

10 Children and policy updates

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on both websites and update the dates above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required by law.
